Well the story is okay and I liked it well enough but I am left unsatisfied. There was a warning about adult content and it had very little of it. The Daria sparks books didn't have the same warning and was full of adult action. If the rest of the series doesn't have more coitus in it it isn't what I am looking for. I was looking for adult romance and less of a story. Still if you'd rather have more of a story this might be for you.Product details

This was an exceptionally witty love story. I enjoyed it so much that once I started reading, I could not put this book down.
The only thing I DIDN'T like was the cliffhanger. The female is hilarious and spunky and the male is sweet but damaged- both physically and mentally. I even liked Uncle Cecil. This is a great beginning to the series.
I was misled by the two rave reviews for this book. We are led to believe this stranger who is actually a successful businessman offers a secretarial position to this wise-cracking teenager because he entered the restaurant, and she was "kind to him." (She served him a really bad cup of coffee. And she was kind of a smart aleck besides.) He has no idea about her qualifications, aside from her ability to pour coffee and the fact she's cute.
HELLO, he has a skin condition so he covers up in dark clothes but needs her to rub sunscreen on his back so he won't burn. He comes across as a sexual predator hiring an innocent girl, and he is a creepy perv in the workplace.
I didn't find this book had any chemistry. If Trixie didn't sound like a middle aged waitress maybe I could believe she is really the virginal young thing she's supposed to be. Though then I would have been even more creeped out about this guy who is taking advantage of a young employee when she's still so nervous she can hardly answer his telephone.
But unlike some of Mac's other stories this one I found cute and endearing and one I will continue as long as it is has episodes.
Really good. I really liked the funny wit of the lead female. The whole book was a good read. I would recommend th anyone who like a good love story.
I believe I'm falling in love with Benson myself, he's an interesting and appealing man and I am immensely enjoying their story. I am off to buy part two of this series. Looking for a good, old fashion romance, this one offers some steamy sex and a few words and turns. Great Book romance fans can really enjoy. Thanks for another great read.
Initially, the writing came off as juvenile, but progressed to some semblance of maturity. I grew to really like the young woman. She is someone I would love to hang out with. The story held my attention but I feel cheated as the author or publisher felt it necessary to break the tale up into segments. I am no so impressed that I feel the need to purchase more snippets for an outrageous price. Sad, I would've loved to see what unfolded between them.
